This game is gonna fucking rock nuts. I cannot wait until this bad bitch comes out. I may even pass on the DVD to buy this as I won't wanna watch ROTS when I have this gem in my possesion.

Anyone geeking out on this yet? How does it compare to the original? It's $50 up here, so I'm going to hold off for the first bit, until I hear some reviews.

It is pretty fucking cool overall- the ships are still a bit tricky to fly (having the right stick as throttle AND pitch controls is kinda off-putting to me) but the improvements over the first one are many an overall really good-
the gameplay is WAY more complex, with lots of missions other than just "hold the command posts"
You can switch your troop type at any "owned" command post, which is cool, as there's some characters that have stealth powers and shit, so you can "steal" a post then quickly switch to a heavy hitter nd wipe out all the remaining guards, lots of new ways to get shit done

Some of the heroes (only some cos I've only played a couple of them so far) are fucking SWEET... Yoda is REALLY fun, luke is fun and even stupid ki-adi-mundi is a killing machine

The jet troopers are really slick now too, you just use the right stick to angle them "up" and you can FLY really high, pretty cool
the worlds that I've seen so far are good fun, too, and the outer space combat is pretty wild (besides the aforementioned difficult controls)

Overall it's worth the 50 bones so far, and I wil have more to report tomorrow or soon at any rate

"Stupid"? Of Ki-Adi-Mundi you speak? That muthafucka was badass enough to be married to three or four wives and still get on the Jedi Council without being a Master yet. And unlike Anakin, they <b>knew</b> he was getting some major league mad fucking going on every month or so when he visited Cerea. They just knew better than to fuck with his cone-headed coolness, dig?

This game fucking rocks!! I'm rationing out the coolness of it by not playing it for more than a couple of hours at a time. I love the game and the little quests it has in it instead of just capturing the fucking CP's.

The Galactic Conquest portion is interesting also. Although the space battles suck.

My God, with the big head looking the way it did, one can only imagine how much the ladies would have been LOVING Ki Adi's little head. Maybe he had a third heart just to supply the blood needed to get his rocket on the launchpad.

Ok, is anyone else pissed off that they took away the command of the troops? I loved that aspect in the first one. Now I have to storm the bases by myslef while they stand around looking like fucktards.


And the flying part sucks ass too.

You can still command troops. You've only got like one command. I think you push up and it'll do a command.

yeah, I as pissed at that, you CAN get unit commands by pushing up on the D-pad, but you can only command as many troops as your rank allows, which means you gotta gets the medals before you get anymore than one guy to follow ya or whatnot, I think I have 125-130 and supposedly I can get 2 guys to obey though it's hard to tell, most of the time I push the button no-one listens- I think you have to actually be certain class/types to use it, which sucks most royally...

The Flying parts- not as bad as I first thought- the trick is to either whip your way through tem by taking a bomber and destroying the support ships first then chipping away at the command ship (I cna beat a whole board with like 3 men this way, sometimes less) OR get real good at dogfighting, but at 3 points a kill it takes a LONG fucking time...

Mos Eisley ASSAULT in instant action is insane, all the heroes slugging it out, anyone who hasn't treid this, do so, it is pretty crazy and gives you a good chance to get the mechanics of the jedi etc down good

I never thought about the rank thing coming into effect while controling troops. It does make sense, how can a Private outrank a captain. The space battles are ok, I have learned ot use the bombers ot take out frigates and sheilds, and lal. If they had a better gun the would rock.

I still can't get past those fucking Gungans! They're bad ass!

This game has actually gotten scarce out here. I haven't seen a copy at any of the stores for about a month now - and thus still haven't bought it.

You need to buy it JJ. Maybe the woman bought them all up so you cant buy one, she will give you one for Christmas and then return the others
