I got tickets to see the Wings play the Avalanche at Pepsi Center in Denver while we're here.

Unfortunately, Peter Budaj shit all over my Christmas and the Wings lost in the skills competition a shootout 4-3.

I did indeed get to add JJL to my list of "random people I've met on the internet and then proceeded to their homes upon invitation" today. A fine time was had by all, yet I realized when I left that photographic evidence does not exist.

Same here. I'm getting Mark Twain's new autobiography, but only because my wife asked me specifically what I wanted. We wouldn't even exchange between each other this year to save money (maternity leave is a bitch), but that would cause all sorts of questions from Jr.

I read the words "Mark Twain's new autobiography" and thought "yeah. That's something Clemens would do. Hold off releasing his autobiography until he's been dead over a century. Well played, Samuel. Well played."

He apparently was such a bitter asshole that he specified that earlier versions (which had already been released) could remain in print, but the full thing could only be released exactly 100 years after his death because he knew it would piss off a LOT of people.

BTW, this is about 800 pages, tiny print, and volume one of I'm not sure how many volumes. I can't wait to dig in.
