Just to be nerdy (while discussing a guy who paints Star Wars pictures, I guess), shouldn't Boba have his ESB armor there? Or did it take a long time for him to take Han to Jabba, or something?

Interesting, I never seem to notice the armor. Maybe this suggests exactly where & when in the timeline the armor change is made - ie, maybe that's "warm weather" armor as opposed to ROTJ armor per se.

I don't know, though . . . he wore semi-ROTJ armor in the ANH Jabba scene, but he didn't have the Mandalorian thing on his left shoulder and I think he had the weird pre-production gloves or something. So, even in the films, there is a switch, so I assume he has a few sets of armor. I just assumed that he went right from Cloud City to Jabba's palace, but I don't know for sure.

I have never noticed. Even when people point it out, I make it a point to not notice. As the theme song from MST3K says, "If you wonder how they eat and breathe, and other science facts/Just say to yourself it's just a show, and I should really just relax."

Kit Fisto changing species in between AOTC and ROTS is a lot more obvious to me, though.

So wouldn't that make sense, Mr. JJ? If he was on Tatooine for the ANH cut scene, that should be the warm weather armor again.

Ha, yeah, I guess so. But then what about his Panna armor from the Holiday Special?

As for Kit, I really don't think it's that big of a difference. It looks like he has more wrinkles in ROTS, or something. At any rate, he looks like a badass in The Clone Wars:

He looks like fucking David Leisure with green dreads there.

Kid Fister has changed twice now.
He had a totally different body (and could do some crazy shit) when we first saw him in Men In Black.

Well, if you remember from Shadows of the Empire he got Han and then went off to that Imperial Base.

That's what I've always heard, but I guess I've just never gotten around to it. I think I tried reading it but didn't get into it when I was 7 or 8, but I assume (or hope, anyway) that I'd be in a different mindset now.

Shadows is the only Star Wars book I've read that truly feels like Star Wars, IMO.

That's exactly how I feel. I try to read it every once in a while because, IMO, it's just that good. You should definitely try and read it JJL. At least borrow it from the library or something.
