So yeah, I live in Long Beach, about a fifteen minute drive to Disneyland in Anaheim and at night, I can tell you when it is exactly 9:30 without having to look at a clock, because....like clockwork, I fucking hear the DL fireworks like there's a war going on. Just a jaunt down the street and I can actually see them. Sometimes it's cool, other times, like tonight, when I'm TOTALLY irritated by this fucking heat wave, I want to scream and use my nanoprobes to infiltrate the vital thought patterns of the fireworks "professionals" to have them aim the damn things at the damn park itself!

I'm eagerly counting down the days until our annual Cedar Point trip already. I freakin' love that place. So much so that I proposed to Mrs. Antropov on the loading platform for Millennium Force. While not as romantic as when Jaws pops out of the water, it was the best I could do. I originally planned on doing it at or near the top of the 310 foot first drop, but I would never have been able to forgive myself for dropping the ring (which I had a really bad feeling about!).
