With the constant use of the term "Go-Bots" as an insult, I decided that we all need to fess up how many Go-Bots we actually owned.

I had 2. Both were the small "hot wheels" sized. Turbo (the red car) and Leader-1 (I think he was supposed to be a F-15).

I think my younger brother had the motorcycle and maybe one other small one. It was green and yellow, but I can't rememeber what it was. It could have been a Transformer.

my brother and i had some crappy broken hand-me-down go-bots. leader 1, the futuristic motorcycle, the black ferarri racecar that was supposed to be a chick... a few others, i think, but not sure...

Let's see....

Off the top of my head, I had:

Turbo
Bug Bite
Baron Von Zoom (Christ, who the fuck came up with these?)
an orange semi truck
a police car
a larger silver car
knockoff Waterwalk
knockoff Dive Dive

My dad managed the toy department at Sears and was able to buy opened and damaged merchandise dirt cheap. That's where most of my Go-Bots came from. When picking out my own stuff, I opted for Transformers. Though, oddly, I always liked the Go-Bot Monsters, especially Vamp.

Mostly, I used these as generic Transformers who could become cannon fodder. Even as a kid, I found The Challenge of the Go-Bots to be a lame cartoon and totally a knockoff of Transformers. (TF come from Cybertron, Go-Bots come from Gobotron. TF have an evil cybernetic mad scientist, Go-Bots get an evil cybernetic mad scientist. Megatron wants to enslave humanity and drain earth of its energy, Cy-Kill wants to enslave humanity and drain earth of its energy. And so on and so on.)

Yeah, go-bots fuckin sucked

I only had a waterwalk knockoff (his face was VERY Transformers/Decepticon like) and I think I had a dive-dove knock-off as well, but nothing beyond that- I bought that two-headed rock-lord guy at a flea market maybe 10 years ago for like 25 cents, but sold it for some dollars a few years later

The Go-bots cartoon SUCKED ASS for real. For some reason (probably the price) Ibought several VHS tapes of Go-Bots a few years ago for like 2 bucks each, and they are actually entertainingly bad for a few minutes until the stupidity and awful animation beats ya down. Challenge of the Rock Lords is by far the stupidest one, especially with the stone-people in MOTU being introduced around the same time with the same ultra-lame effect

All I had were hand me downs from friends who had left their toys at my house.

I had an orange forklift.
A green jeep.
A Submarine.
Some kind of rocket car with silver wings.
And maybe a helicoptor guy?
