This is rather amusing

So I've been looking at eBay lately. One thing I find annoying is that there's no way to view only negative feedback. 'Cause some people leave some fucking petty negative feedback, but you never know if it's a real complaint until you read it. Which is hard when dealing with one of these sellers with thousands of feedback, uh, reviews.

So I sent them a suggestion to allow users to filter feedback, because negative is more important than positive when deciding whether to send your money to some guy in his parents' basement.

I get this response:
Dear [Anarky],

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to filtering the feedback and
comments by ratings.

The feedback from our Community members is critical to helping eBay be
the best online marketplace, and we appreciate it.

***Important***
Any comments or materials you submit to us, including questions, ideas,
and technical or creative suggestions, are considered non-confidential
and non-proprietary. eBay has no obligation of any kind regarding these
submissions.

If you still want to submit your suggestion, please reply to this
message and I will forward it to the appropriate team for
consideration.

It is my pleasure to assist you. Thank you for choosing eBay.

Sincerely,
Ursula w.

So I have to consent that I lose all rights to my suggestion if I actually confirm this and they look at it?

Why the fuck would I have sent it otherwise? What the hell can I possibly do with a feedback system?

First Hasbro won't take our suggestions because they're afraid we'll sue, now this?

I swear to God, these companies are too goddamned afraid of lawsuits to even wipe their own asses.
