yep, moving outta brooklyn. we're just spending way too much money on rent/car insurance. it's probably one of the most expensive places to pay car insurance anywhere.

so we're moving an hour and a half north, to beacon, ny... a nice little town on the hudson river, where the express train can get me into grand central in a swift 67 minutes, and the reduction in our expenses will net us a savings of about $700 a month even after factoring in my $300+ monthly metro north ticket.

plus, now i won't have to worry about finding a parking spot, or moving my car for street cleaning, so that's cool.

end of the month! we just had to paint the apartment this weekend, and let me tell ya... after manual labor jobs for a long time, a year behind a desk in an office job made me REALLY soft. i'm still aching.

we already signed the lease on the new place, and they already rented the place we're in now. we're probably 65% packed.

we're also gaining a bunch of square footage, the place we're in now is TINY. of the square footage, only half to two thirds is actually useful, as there's a long, long hallway. it's almost like a railroad apartment.

nah, got another week. and it's like, last-minute because the people that are currently living there won't be out until the 31st, and we HAVE to be out before the 1st because they already rented the place. we have a broadway show to go to on the 30th, so it's going to be tight, and we'll basically be living out of a truck for a day.

we're about 65-70% packed up, with just my comics, computers, and furniture to be made ready for moving.

I thought I was all packed too, and then during that last 24 hour period i was doing so much scrambling, I made myself sick. :(

Moving gives you the shits. This is medically proven.
