My haul August 1st...

3 piece Vader
Bane
Yarna
Ewoks (cute!)
Luke
Han
Chewie

Got them at Target with a "price-cut" to $6.99

Funny thing, more than half of all the figures on the pegs had that retarded "First day of issue" sticker crap on them

I saw the Hoth Speeder Bike Patrol pack...the figs look like shit on a shingle! The shoulder armor from the snow troopers does not fit AT ALL with the scout trooper! Looked like there were gigantic basketballs on their shoulders.

I have to thank Hasbro for being kind enough to reissue C3PO with the articulated knees, so's I can put him in the Falcon. That aside, it really is a great version of the character, and I don't see ever needing another. The only two other 3po figures I had ever opened were both POTF2 versions- Orange Card (crap) and Sale of the Droids (not bad, but extremely dirtified).

Found the evo pilots #2 set today, while I am digging on it, it's no where near as good as the new Joe DVD battle packs, but still good...still good.

The Evo packs just didn't seem worth it to me. I was going to get the Rebel Pilot set, but changed my mind when I saw it in person. The I didn't want the EU figure from the #2 pilots set, so that was out as well.

My psychosis is acting up again. I seem to have misplaced the stand for my TFU Battle Damaged Vader. As a result, I've torn apart my fucking office and rearranged pretty much all my shit, knocking over nearly 70 vintage figures in the process. :frus:

Still no fucking stand, either. :frus: :frus: :frus: :frus: :frus: :frus: :frus: :frus: :frus: :frus:

That is what you get for buying a piece of crap.

Yeah, he is kinda junkie... but no one ever mentions how SOLID this fucking Vader is. It's made of iron or something - super heavy. The only thing I really dislike about the figure is the paint job on the helmet/head - it's bad when you really examine it. The cool part is, though, that the armor takes a kicking but he's still ready to whoop some ass. :vader:

Did anyone here actually get the AT-TE?

I keep seeing comments that the legs don't support the weight, and prescribing a certain size of rubber tubing to insert to fix it.

What the fuck?

Hasbro is selling a $100 toy that doesn't even fucking work? How do they get away with this? They do realize that, using their own logic, 99% of these will be sold to kids, right? Do they expect kids to play with something that costs that much and just falls apart?

Shit, for $100, that motherfucker had better walk around the house and obey my orders.

I havent gotten it yet. Part of it is because of that and the other part is kids going back to school, they need clothes/supplies and thats more important

I got the AT-TE and I haven't had any problems with the legs. One of the feet came off when I pulled it off, but I put it back on. But apparently, the problem is when it's on hard surfaces, and so far I've only had it on carpet. I think it's fine, though.

So...how long before people are buying the new BFF Falcon, and sticking one of the older ones back in the box and returning it?
