I don't think anything made it into the finished movie, but she claimed the bikini wouldn't stay on and everyone on set saw her full glory many times. Oh, to be a fourth-class assistant grip that day....

For some reason, I never thought of Leia sexually. Probably because I saw the movie when I was 4 and Carrie Fisher is only a few years younger than my mom and about the same age as my aunt. So, I never paid attention to her boobs, especially in ANH.

That said, other chicks dressing up in the Slave Leia bikini is hot.

Star Wars Episode VII rumour timeline

Kind of cool, but it doesn't really give that much info. Filming is supposed to start in Jan. Abrams apparently isn't happy about having to film in London.

J.J. Abrams is still staying mum about work on the next "Star Wars" film, but gave a hint about the direction for episode VII at the Produced By Conference — a conference for producers presented by the Producers Guild of America.
"I think the key to moving forward on something like this is honoring but not revering what came before," said Abrams according to The Hollywood Reporter.

We see episode VII as a continuation of the saga, a natural progression of the "Star Wars" storyline in a linear fashion.

There was a point when quotes like this would make me nervous, but after the prequels, I doubt anything about the Star Wars franchise would get me that excited.

While I'm looking forward to new Star Wars, I'm nowhere near as excited as I would have been if they'd have announced it around the time of the prequels.
I think the mediocrity of Clone Wars and nothing truly exciting since 2005 have been the biggest contributors.

I do have faith in Abrams though. This is the guy that made Star Trek cool and fun for the first time ever. He's often been referred to as the new Spielberg. I disagree. He's more of a Senor Spielbergo. I'd have picked Matthew Vaughn or John Favreau first, but he'll be fine.
