I won't be happy until I get:
1. Kitster & Wald two-pack
2. A decent Jar Jar
3. Dead, Jell-O neck Shmi Skywalker (super-articulated)
4. A self hovering Watto
5. Baby birthin' Padme (with creepy "Oohbah" Droid)
6. Honeymoon Padme

I believe it was Anty who reported elsewhere, the Falcon shall be $180.

Fuck. That.

Or....
[sarcastic Eddie Murphy impression]What a bargain! This is a bargain for me![/sarcastic Eddie Murphy impression]

I saw that price listing on RS, and it was from Kay-Bee. Hopefully the other stores will have it for less, but who knows.

Today Walmart had that EU Royal Guard comic 2-pack. Isn't that supposed to be an online exclusive?

It was, but they re-released it everywhere for $10 whereas the original was $20. Now the visors look like shit though since they're transparent and the originals were red.

I don't understand why people get excited about some of the stuff they get excited about.

The "Disturbance at the Lars Homestead" pack is apparently $35. It includes Owen, Beru, a Sandtrooper (possibly two--some folks seem to claim to see a second one in the tiny picture), a dome, and a vaporator.

Everyone is going apeshit, but hoping the picture is just a mockup and we get a new Owen in the set.

Why the fuck would people get excited over paying almost five times the price of a figure to get the figure with a lot of extra crap? I'd love a new Owen, since he's one of the characters I'm 100% sure I want to keep in my collection, but the 1997 figure looks like shit. It looked like shit even in 1997. But no way in hell would I pay $35 for a new one.

Maybe some goober will try to build a massive city with the domes, and sell me one of his extra Owens if it's a new figure.

Really? Why are they doing all this now instead of a few years ago? I think I finally see your point. Hasbro sees the decline in interest in the line and are pumping out all the fanboy wank (ICMG, Yarna, bigger Falcon, etc.). Depending on how it looks, I might buy it.

Other than 2-1B, I don't think I've bought any SW this year. I came close to buying a couple things like that blue/yellow R2 and the Y-wing. TRU even had that sale on SW, but I couldn't justify buying anything, even for those Hasbro Rewards points.

Not counting a couple of holdovers, from 2007 I've bought 2-1B, Po Nudo, the Tri-Droid, the Tsui Choi Order 66 set (and that stupid Clonetrooper is going on eBay soon), and Zev Senesca. I'm pretty sure that's it. I'm having major second thoughts about the Tri-Droid, too.

It has sandtroopers in it, Sal will buy 45 of them. :D

the lars homestead set looks like a gigantic pile of poo! The dome will probably be cardboard, rehashed figures, no thanks, and the background looks like a cartoon??

I'll definitely pay $35 for it, oh yes.

Now, if they were crispies, I'd be all over dat! :mabs:

I must be in a minority, but no way in hell would I pay money for burned Owen and Beru.

Naked young Beru, though.... :beard:

This set would have (obviously) been so much better if they included Cliegg, young Owen, and young Beru. Or an Obi-Wan repack on an Eopie. Or something other than two shitty ten-year-old figures.

Aw, fuck. I know I'm gonna buy it, though. That dome is pretty sweet. I'll just bend over now and get it over with.

A guy opens up to what he thinks are his friends about a personal and potentially embarrasing little nugget of info..

and he NEVER hears the end of it. You poor, poor little Mexican.

I'd like to see pictures of it before I pass judgment on it.

And by "it" I am referring to the Lars home/figures set and not JJL blowing himself.
