Great. I saw the Jabba once just before Christmas and didn't have the money for it.

Does the Endor R2 have any tools that pop out of his chest or is his chest glued shut?

And I have another stupid question: I've saved the card back for every figure I've opened since the POTF2 line. This includes regular figures, cinema scenes, and deluxe beast boxes. Is there any reason why I should keep them?

Damn, I didn't pick up any extras. :(

I still don't have the R2. I've been told he's a nice figure, but, shit, another $7 R2?

I've fighting the urge. Since I bought the last Luke for the Moisture Vaporator, I've been afraid to buy crappy figures for the cool accessory. So, I haven't bought the Torture Rack Han or Endor R2. The Han is still rare around here, but the R2 has a decent presence. The rack is only shown briefly in the films, so I don't really care about it. But for some reason, the cargo net/stretcher seems appealing since I have so many ewoks and the 3PO throne.

I passed on the $7 vaporator w/ Phil Collins: Windswept Toupee.

R2's chest is glued shut, as it has been on every re-release of that mold. The harness isn't completely accurate and the net is a little too small but I think it's a nice set.

As for the cards/boxes, I too keep them; it's fun every few years to look at some. I don't think I'd be able to just throw them away.

R2 is ok. I had a hard time getting him on the transport thingie, but it eventually went on.

The only thing stinky about the R2 is the paint app on his feet - not necessary. The spit & net are pretty good accessories - I'd say BARELY worth the figure price (but i wound up buying all of the basic figures again last year, so who am I to really say?).

I much prefer the torture rack to the R2 net & spit. My 2 cents.

Oh, and have one more good look at all those packages then fire them into the recycling. Maybe keep an example card from each line for posterity (I have kept a figure carded from most packaging types, just to look at).

I bought a Pax Bonkik today. The Red jumpsuit Naboo Guard was nowhere to be found. I picked up Pax because I figured "better to get it over with now".

If that Luke had been SA, I would have picked it up and switched heads with SAGA Luke. Of course, that one had knees with lame arms, and now we have great arms with no knees. I know they want us to keep buying, but enough! SA Luke. PLEASE!

I took tat head of that Luke and put it on a Stormie body. It gives a nice wet head look for fresh out the compactor.

Oh, good call! I may have a reason to get that figure now, since I couldn't justify the money just for the vaporator!

That head suffers mainly from horrible paint. I've seen a couple of really, really good customizations of that figure - and it's not a bad likeness. I'll see if I can't dig one up to post here.

Sorry, apparently I'm retarded. It's the latest Celebration Luke, not this Twatooine version.

Fuck this stupid animated figure bullshit. I know I am saving a sit ton of money on these, especially with the price increase. I will still get comic packs and regular movie figs, but this is ab-fucking-surd. Damned Hasbro, didnt they say they wouldnt be animated?
