Awesome....... 25th and Broadway - Ya'll know what it is, BITCH!!!

Shit, I nearly wept when I heard Juggy bust off that "LEMME IN!!!!". J2 is bigger news to me than MI3 and Pirates of the Carribean 2 rolled into one!!!! [:D]

Sad thing, by the point in the film where he said that, it was too late to save the train wreck.

It wasn't my favorite either, Chux, but it still handed Daredevil Foggy Nelson's ass on a platter.

Damn, Daredevil SUCKED. Sheesh.

LOL yeah, I refrained from posting my thoughts at ANY other site, but I was real less-than-impressed with the film (X-3, forget DD)
After x2 I figured "it was pretty damn cool but if they get a bigger budget the next one will ROCK" and somehow that's what I felt walking outta x-3, the boat was missed repeatedly, the plot was totally haphazard and a LOT of stuff that was sorta "promised" turned out to be tiny cameos, leaving it feeling real hollow- oddly, I think the "sentinel scene" could be used a a metaphor to describe the whole film, a kind of "well, what ya SAW was pretty cool BUT" kinda thing

Yeah, I posted an in-depth commentary at the other site and didn't feel like rehashing it here. I'm going there next, and fully expect a 3-page diatribe on why I'm stupid for thinking the way I do.

Some early scenes, especially Hank's expression when his hand becomes "normal" and young Warren trying to cut off his wings, showed some real promise, but it never materialized. Even the single most powerful scene, with Erik sitting alone at the chessboard, was totally fucked up with the stupid revelation that he hadn't really lost his powers.

I have my grievances, but my first impression was that it was "fine" - not really good or great, but a fair enough continuation of the franchise. I'm planning on going one more time, just to see if I'm going to buy the DVD right away or not - and to catch that post-credit scene that I walked out on the first time.

I think they tried to use way too many characters - a pothole they somehow amazingly avoided in the first two movies.

Because so many of the characters in the first two (Kitty, Jubilee, Siryn, Colossus, Artie, Beast, etc) were throwaway cameos. Great for hardcore fans, but no distraction if you didn't know them.

God Damn, that was fucking awesome!!!! I think there are more great lines in that one than the first (which to me drops off after the first 5 minutes). 8)

I liked it but I liked the first alot more. The first one was just people messing around and it became an internet sensation but this one was too planned. They TRIED to make it funny.

It was a lot more "planned" (and they seemed a lot less "stoned"), but it starts out funny and stays right up there. The other guy mimicking his friend as the "new" Juggernaut had me pissing myself. That LEMME IN shit from the trailer had me laughing so hard - and it was no letdown in the clip either:

"Man, they still shootin' fireworks at me... ain't that a BITCH? I gotta go throught the front door, fuck knockin... LEMME IN!!!!!"

"V-Dub Baby!!!!" was also another classic line.

I agree with Slick, the first was beter. It did have more lines in it, but not as funny overall.
