Okay, that last post was funny. I had forgotten about that, and giggled when I saw it.

I didn't want to start a new "Hey Diabolical" thread, nor did I want to co-opt one by The Grins, so here's some food for thought for you:

I know only two people who hate Mystery Men and Speed Racer with a passion.

Ponder that for about five minutes, and I imagine you'll be off to the store to buy them both on blu-ray.

Mystery Men 1 was okay. The whole Ben Stiller murder/suicide kinda overshadows it now.
MM2 with the Flaming Carrot was the best movie of 2008, though. Anybody who hates on THAT movie is a king sized douche.

And that goes triple for Speed Racer Trilogy. "How many gears?!?" heh heh. I love that scene.

I think I'm going to start throwing out random Breaking Bad spoilers in random threads.

Actually, I don't think I've ever seen Blues Brothers all the way through. I know certain sequences but I don't know if I've just seen those as clips on movie tribute shows or if if I've just walked off during the movie when it's been on TV.

No worries. The movie isn't NEARLY as good as Dick makes it out to be. It's like an early 80's Fast and Furious.

It has explosions & Princess Leia as well.

And Ray Charles. Fuck any movie that doesn't have Ray Charles.

The Fuck?? Apparently YOU haven't seen it either. It's a musical with a bunch of kickass cameos and performances by Cab Calloway and Aretha Franklin and others.
Which just happens to have a couple car chases in it. One of which is inside a mall. Which kicks ass.
