ASM 548 - this really did read like an old-time Spidey mag to me. Good book.
Astonishing 24 - now all I need to do is find my copies of 22 & 23 so I can re-read the last 6 issues.
X-Men 207 - grand finale of Messiah Complex. Whoopie!

Is this thing on?
Uncanny 495
ASM 549
FF 553. Take note: Mark Millar starts next month - might be a book worth checking out if you're not currently reading FF.

Picked up
The Boys #15 - More fun, yet dysfunctional, superhero sex and crime.
Star Wars Legacy #19 - Some stuff happens and Cade escapes the Sith when his mom, who looks to be the same age as Cade, shows up and...whatever...who gives a shit...

ASM 550
New Avengers
FF 554
Astro City Beutie 1 shot
I passed on the Illuminati book assuming it was a reprint - if it was a new story I'm going to have to go back and get it.

I filled in my FF run yesterday with 547, 548 & 550 - now I can read everything leading up to the Mark Millar first issue.
Also got an Astonishing 22 with the variant Wolverine cover, completing my set of 6 variants. Woop de doo.

Wolvergins #22 - Why is Deadpool a complete Flornbi? He was always out there, but now they've made him a total nut job. Did I miss something in the last few years in the X-Universe?
X-Force #1 - The art is fantastic but the story makes little to no sense in so many places. Not totally sure why I picked it up.

Kick-Ass #1 - Nice start, but its too early to tell if this series really will kick-ass. I do like the way that they laid the groundwork and didn't feel the need to set everything up in the very first issue.
All-Star Batman #9 - Loving Batman's belittling and teasing of Green Lantern (reminded me of Eniss' superhero distaste). The dramatic shift was pretty unexpected and fast, but handled very well. Still far better than All-Star Superman (or A.S.S.).
Star Wars Legacy #20 - More boring shit happens.
Daredevil #105 - Reading DD is such a pain in the ass. It is depressing as hell, but it is so well written you can't help it.
Criminal Vol 2 #1 - Not sure why Brubaker and Phillips felt it needed a relaunch, other than to get more readers. Read the first part of it and so far so good, like the other Criminal stories.

FREE(!) Secret Invasion poster
FREE(!) Secret Invasion comic
FREE(!) Stephen King comic (and no, I'm not going to buy the continuation of Dark Tower)
ASM 552, 553
Uncanny 496
FF 555
Mighty Avengers 10
Thunderbolts 119
Logan 1 (of 3)

Aw fer fuck sakes - is it a foldout preview type deal, or is it within the story? I can easily flip past the first thing, but it's hard to skip over the second.

It's in the story. Avoid any dialogue between Nightcrawler, Wolverine, and Colossus in a skeevy bar and you should be fine.

Punisher War Journal #17 - skipped it last week because I thought I picked it up two weeks ago, which shows how much attention I'm paying. Another boring issue exploring Frank's new sidekick. Another way it shows i don't care - the center page(s) came loose and fell out, which would have pissed me off, since its never happened to me before with a new comic, but I just thought "oh well." Also, this is the second issue in a row where The Punisher doesn't show up until the end. Did that dumbass Fraction forget who's name is on the title?
Star Wars Legacy #21 - Part 2 of yet another fill-in story. I swear they should call this comic Random Tales from the Star Wars Future. Nice artwork though.
The Punisher #55 - The start of Garth Ennis' final Punisher arc. As usual, it is a slow start (with 7 pages of old men on a golf course and 4 pages of text), but I'm loving how Ennis is tying many unresolved arcs of the MAX series (Including Born) into this story. From Born to Mother Russia to Up is Down and Black is White to The Long, Cold Dark Ennis has been slowly laying the groundwork for his finale. I have a feeling this is going to be one hell of a story.
Serenity: Better Days #1 (of 3) - The best crew in the 'verse is back! Taking pace before Those Left Behind (where Wash is still alive! Yes!), this is an odd tale for the crew of Serenity because things appear to be going their way for once! My only complaint is the art. Will Conrad is the artist again - he has a good grasp on the character likenesses, but his plotting needs some work. Sometimes it takes you a bit longer than it should to figure out what just happened.
