Like I said, I was in the middle of trades with DNA and Slicker, and I have no idea whatsoever how to get in touch with that Slicker motherfucker. [:)] Not to sound disrespectful or seem like I'm making light of things, but what about Tycho and Bobafrett, who were discussing exchanges far more important than action figures?
I was being 100% serious earlier. I'm writing to Action Online telling them how incredibly insulting to their users, none of whom had anything personal against A-OL, and copying every advertiser I can come up with. I'm going to every A-OL affiliate and refreshing every page a few dozen times to make a list of every possible advertiser I can, and copying them on it. This kind of company is only going to take things seriously when it threatens their bottom line, almost all of which comes from advertisers. Convince the advertisers that about 90% or more of the visitors to their sites aren't going to be stopping by anymore, and I doubt they'll be so eager to put banners of stupid pirate ships on every page anymore.

Are there any other SSG refugee forums besides here and myspace? It's too bad the sightandsoundguide died out it would have been a good place to regroup.

I dunno. [:(] I'm stuck with galactichunter for the time being for SW news. Not a bad site, and I've got some friends who much prefer it to SSG and haven't been around Steve's for several years, but it seems so. . . formal. There's humor there, but a different brand, not nearly as slapstick and goofy. You're either in on the private joke, or you're not.
And don't get me started about rebelscum. Man, I hate to talk bad about the "competition," but that place sucks.

I wouldn't worry about Tycho and bfrett. Tycho took the initiative to get the myspace "SSG in Exiles" group started, which has about 30 of us, including bobafrett, in some type of forum contact again. Certainly isn't a replacement for our old place, but it's a good place to get news about what's going on with Steve and AO. And some very minimum discussion of baseball...Damn you AO for messing up MLB talk on SSG!

Yeah, we've got a quaint little community over there. It's pretty much the nucleus of the forums on Myspace right now which is good since we can keep up with what's going down (besides Chux mom that is)

What about recruiting some of the part time-CB'ers like LBC, Bobafrett, Hellboy, QLD, and Darth Quack? I'm sure there are more, I just can't think of them right now. LBC and QLD are in the SSG Fantasy sports leagues so we could find their contact info through there.
