I'm looking forward to the Jawa and a few more figures from this year - but the shine is really off the whole game for me. I have too much crap, and it's time for them to stop making stuff so that I can stop buying it.

I bought IG-88 and a snowtrooper to open. I am getting a set to keep sealed as I have the other 2 sets sealed up. I will buy a few more snowtroopers, but not many more(2-3) IG-88 is a damn huge improvement overall than the POTJ figure. Granted they could have made better vintage figures than him, but its a good figure. I never have to buy another one again.

IG-88 may be a huge improvement, but the last one was good, and the stupid fucker just stands there for three seconds. Seriously. Time it. Three. I don't care if he's slightly taller and now has an ball-jointed cock. I'm fucking tired of fucking IG-88. Everyone tells me that I'll change my mind when I see him because he's so incredibly fucking cool, but he's staying on the peg unless he says, "Yo! Over here, Chux! I'm the Vintage IG-88, and I can sing the theme to Garry Shandling's Show whenever you want, and I make the best fucking flapjacks in the world."

Even then, I'd say, "You make me some flapjacks right now, you rehashed piece of shit, and I'll buy you if they're as good as you claim."

I bought figures for the first time the other day in a long time.

Seriously, F Hasbro in the A. I can take or leave whatever they put out at this point and right now I'm just content to find new stuff and look at it at the store and call it good. With veeeery few exceptions (Torture rack Han) I have zero use for any of the shit they throw in a blister any more. This new found boner over the Shadowtrooper is the greediest ploy ever. How long before we have a Shadow Han, since fanboy will jerk off to that, too, and Hasbro can rub their greedy little paws together at having sold yet another retardedly insane repaint.

I often wonder why I still display my figs. Space filler I guess.

In all seriousness, does anyone need a loose TC-14 (original) or Ascension Gun Padme? I know they're "rare"(er than most of the shit put out) and if any of you turkeys need to plug holes I'd be happy to help out for a very small fee.

If you wanna trade Padme for Ephant Mon, that's cool with me. If you still wants him, that is.

I just ordered Bossk, IG-88, Han, and the Snowtrooper from Hasbro. AAA has a discount of 15% if you go through their site. It actually came out to $9.98 each, with shipping and taxes. Sure, it's pricier than normal, but much better than the $12.95 they'd be at Target after tax.

I passed on Leia and Luke. I've seen them both, and they look like horseshit. The consensus among everything I've read and heard is the same. I couldn't justify getting those POS Ceremonial Luke and Pilot Han figures even at a discount, either.

I won't say anything, I'm avoiding any discussion of VOTC figures over there.

I don't know if you've ever heard of MyPoints, but I only need less than 500 more points to get a $15 gift card from KB. That's going to pay for my IG-88 and Bossk. The rest will surely make it to clearance.

We saw a Hoth Han yesterday with a screwed up paint job. There was some extra paint on his face that made him look kind of like a zombie.

I'm picky about paint. But I got four Snowtroopers (three for a friend who I owed some money), so there's extras to choose from. And the others, well, I can buy them in a store and then turn around and return the ones I get from online.

Oh, and I figured I'd slip up and mention something about one of them, so I just admitted to having ordered them there. Want to take bets on how long until I get lambasted for it?

I figure the ones I got were improvements on earlier figures, the Luke is a lateral move from the Saga one (better articulation, worse head, evens out), and the Princess is a step down from the POTF2 one. Given that she was an incredibly shitty pack-in, that's pretty bad.
