That in itself is a Quote of the Day!!

The three things that get me:

1) He makes a point to agree that bringing people back from the dead is bad writing. But he fails to make the connection that Marvel brought back a total of three people from the dead, and two of those (Mindbender and Firefly) because Hasbro made new figures of the characters. (I don't count Scarlett, Storm Shadow, and Baroness, because in these three cases, it was revealed immediately that they'd survived, so a narrow escape was clearly the initial intention.)

But Devil's Due has brought back more dead characters than X-Men, and one of those twice in less than three years!

2) I've pointed out before that he complains about coincidence, but fails to notice that he's on a SW collecting site. SW, where the major villain is the father of two heroes, built a third, used to fly with a fourth, etc, etc, etc.

3) He tries to sound like an authority on everything, but seems to think ninjas were created by Frank Miller in the 80s.

Shit, I'm giving this too much thought. I'm done with it.

It is a little known fact that Ninjas were in fact created by Albert Miller, Frank's slightly retarded older brother. Albert would run around in his pajamas yelling "You can't see me! You can't see me!" Frank cribbed the idea from him.

Or perhaps Albert Camus created them as a metaphor for those who live a life of mundanity, but yearn to lash out at society. A quasi-ineffectual, post-eletist worker drone. Or something. That drives a tank where the exhaust system clearly interferes with the targeting system.

Fucking Slimmie and his "My list is the same as yours, minus the first 24 items." (referring to the ultimate movie, and everything else besides the nudity and sex) was great. That guy/gal is a funny fucker.

This is so getting edited when JT sees it, but it made me piss my pants:
Rogue II wrote:I had a dream where I was a mountain that had a train tunnel running through it. All day long, trains kept going in and out of me. Some of the trains had sausages, some carried rockets. One of them even had a telephone pole. Then it started to snow and sleet on me, so I was then covered in the white stuff. It was very scenic.

Apologies to....aw, hell, I ain't apologizing. I just never thought I'd look at the days he started threads about every movie he saw as the "good old days".

Why would it get edited? It was simply a story about railed cargo transportation in a nice winter setting.

I could practically hear the BAN STICK whistling in from the left side of my monitor for a quick meeting with Rogue2 when I read that, glad it was preserved here for posterity

Seriously tho, Tycho has actually gotten crazy enough to be funny again, to me at least, and your "good ol days" comments made me laugh pretty fucking hard, SO sad but so true :mabs:

You're crazy, too, then.

I can't stand that fudge pounder. I don't even look in his threads any more.

I look at them once Caesar or someone else post there, but I don't read what Tycho wrote. Caesar had a good comment about E.T.

That post still hasn't been edited or anything.
