I really need to upgrade my RAM. I had 1GB but then one of my 512 sticks just died so I'm running on only 512. I notice it and my comp. slows sometimes but I'm just too cheap to upgrade.

I am spending three weeks in dial-up hell. My parents don't feel the need to upgrade to DSL or the like.

Yesterday we finally got Comcast High-Speed instead of AOL dial-up . . . holy sweet shit, it's a million times better. Luckily I saved all of my old "links" and was recently able to finally quickly download some certain videos that I was unable to before. On a less pornographic note, YouTube is totally fuckin' awesome now.

Just upgraded from DSL to Cable because it was cheaper and way faster.

A couple years ago, my neighbor was moving and gave my kids a 18" TV. They quit using it and it has been sitting in the garage. I noticed it the other day and saw that it has a DVI cable in the back. I checked my computer and sure enough, there was a 2nd DVI port. Our IT guy at work gave me an extra one since our new monitors don't use them. I just hooked it up to my computer and it worked without changing any settings. Now I have 2 monitors.
