You cuttin' wise? or am I on your ignore list?
"Once there were brook trout in the streams in the mountains. You could see them standing in the amber current where the white edges of their fins wimpled softly in the flow. They smelled of moss in your hand. Polished and muscular and torsional. On their backs were vermiculate patterns that were maps of the world in its becoming. Maps and mazes. Of a thing which could not be put back. Not be made right again. In the deep glens where they lived all things were older than man and they hummed of mystery."

That was the whole purpose. I'm surprised that you're one of the first to bring that up in this thread (with the only other exception being the opening post).

Good catch Slick... completely missed that. I guess that is what happens when you read a thread and reply to it hours later. :???: Of course, you are referring to Cappy and not myself, but I'm sure he is thinking the same thing.

Just what exactly is a noob? I have a co-worker who uses that term constantly, and he's yet to tell me what it actually means. Fucking asshole.

Short for newbie. Another silly internet slang. And one of the few that I actually have any clue about.

Ahhh thank you. I feel like I'm so out of the loop. I just found out like 3 days ago what PWNED means.

So noob basically means someone who is new and inexperienced? Are there certain characteristics to a noob?

And when is the most appropriate time to call someone a noob? Cause this kid I work with tends to call people noobs only under certain circumstances.

Noob is a good word cause it sounds like the word boob. And everybody likes boobs. So when someone calls me a noob, all I hear them say is 'boob', and then I just assume that they're complementing me on my breasts.

Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention that my co-worker said that because I didn't know what the word 'noob' meant, that I was a noob. So I guess I am no longer a noob.
