I taped it several months ago and never got around to watching it. I didn't have enough time to "read" a movie. Curiously, since taping it, I've had time to watch three other Kurosawa films that I had to read, so I plan to get to it within the next week. Knowing there's an unwatched Kurosawa flick on my DVR makes me want to turn the TV away from Last Top Cupcake Standing, punching someone if necessary to do so.

That guy looks familiar. I'm thinking he's on some shitty reality show, but likely fashion or food-based, since I think my wife watched something with him in it.

Google tells me he's from Project Runway, so that must be it. She used to love that show before it went to Lifetime and had to get even suckier. I'm guessing maybe he was a celebritard who wanted to debate that robot guy from the Craig Kilborne or Ferguson show, but died from terminal sucktitude first. Either that or he's blowing Snarf.
