I think I saw a trailer for that a couple of years ago and thought it looked dumb. Kinda like Kentucky Fried Movie or Amazon Women on the Moon, but trying too hard. I'd rather spend twenty bucks on paper towels.

Jesus, you inspired me to look around, and it looks like the Shamwow is the high point of Offer's entire life. He was kicked out of Scientology, sued Pamela Anderson because even she thought appearing in his movie was a bad idea, and suffered a stroke? Christ almighty.

From what I found, it looks like he sued Anna Nicole Smith for not appearing in the movie, and also sued the Farrelly brothers and the Church of Scientology. Did he also get Pamela Anderson or what?

To be fair, though, I think the Shamwow commercial would be a high point in just about anyone's life.

I just checked and, according to Entertainment Weekly's website and a thing they posted ten years ago, he's now 44. Holy shit!
