Nope. I was using my wife's laptop and was already well over half way done when she asked if I was using one. Since I rarely use her laptop I didn't know she had one on there. I can always transfer it later.vynsane wrote:you didn't use a spreadsheet?Diabolical wrote:I'd count and see how many that is, but I'm fucking tired now.

You could easily import the document in Excel.
"Once there were brook trout in the streams in the mountains. You could see them standing in the amber current where the white edges of their fins wimpled softly in the flow. They smelled of moss in your hand. Polished and muscular and torsional. On their backs were vermiculate patterns that were maps of the world in its becoming. Maps and mazes. Of a thing which could not be put back. Not be made right again. In the deep glens where they lived all things were older than man and they hummed of mystery."

Re: I have WAY too many DVDs
I'm sure I'll get around to doing something like that.
A quick count:
351 total DVDs, counting tv shows a 1, but movie box sets (like Indy, SW, or BTTF) as 3 each.
12 Double dips
6 Movie box sets
56 TV seasons/volumes
22 Documentaries (War docs or music DVDs)

Re: I have WAY too many DVDs
A while back, I downloaded a free program that tracks music, movies, and video games. I haven't updated my collection in a long time. If you want, I can find the name of the program. You can enter the movie by UPC code. I think if you have a decent webcam, it is suppsed to be able to scan the UPC code for you. Once you enter it, it goes and downloads all the info for the movie or cd.
What sucked is that if you have a cd from BMG, it probably doesn't have a UPC code so you have to go to amazon and find it. Hopefully they updated the software and made it a little easier to enter movies.

Here is that program. It catalogs books, movies, music, and games. Free download.

Re: I have WAY too many DVDs
I use DVD Profiler to catalog my dvd collection. Its a fantastic program, but several of the features of the program are locked unless you purchase a license, which sucks. Still a lot better/cooler than most freeware I have come across. Though I hear DVD Spot is good. These don't catalog games, and etc, just DVDs/HD DVDs/Blu-ray.
