These don't even to appear to be those cities that, technically, are quite small. LA would be the closest to one of those. Sorta like London in the UK: the area commonly called "London" is enormous, but the actual boundaries of the city are only like five blocks square.
Were any of these cities like that, the stats wouldn't be so embarassing to America.
