Scottish actor EWAN McGREGOR regrets filming the STAR WARS movies - branding the sci-fi films the worst work he has done.
The 36-year-old actor made his shock comment during a recent trip to a Scottish hospice, when the father of a young patient suffering from an incurable condition asked him about his best and worst movies.
Hamish Glasgow, whose three-year-old son Hamish suffers from rare Hoyeraal Hreidarsson, says, "Ewan was really down to earth. He was great with Cameron. He was really relaxed and you could tell he's a really good dad.
"He said the favourite movie he'd done was Trainspotting and the one he liked least was Star Wars." McGregor starred in 1999's The Phantom Menace, 2002s Attack Of The Clones and 2005s Revenge Of The Sith.
"Funny," said George Lucas in response, "I thought his and Liam's acting were the only two things that didn't totally suck in the movies! I just sorta threw those pieces of crap out there because I knew they'd make me money. Oh, and to get into Natalie Portman's panties. Zing!!" He then threw a black lace thong at this reporter.
